This Veterans Week, as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and remember the service and sacrifice of the Canadian Armed Forces members and Canada's Veterans, Anita joined her colleagues from all Parties for the unveiling of the maquette honouring Lieutenant-Colonel Sam Sharpe on Parliament Hill.

Lt.-Col. Same Sharpe was a Canadian hero and is finally returning to the foyer outside the House of Commons, more than a century after the former Member of Parliament and WW1 Veteran returned traumatized from the killing fields of Europe and took his own life.
