Anita joined Ministers Bill Morneau, Mary Ng, Catherine McKenna, and MP colleagues Linda Lapointe and Greg Fergus at Farmboy in Ottawa to announce an agreement reached with credit card companies to reduce transaction charges to businesses. This will save Canadian small and medium sized businesses $250 million a year in fees so they can focus on growing their enterprises.
