Anita was proud to cut the ribbon for the opening of the new 10,000 sq foot 20-bed Nelson House women’s shelter in Ottawa West-Nepean. This valuable and worthwhile facility was made posible thanks to $5.3 million federal & provincial funding. This will be a safe, supportive & accessible place for survivors of violence & their children to rebuild their lives.
