Anita attended the I.LEAD conference, the annual Islamic conference in Ottawa-Gatineau. She felt inspired by the youth volunteers who organized the I.LEAD conference. It is vital we all come together to share our ideas, laugh together and cry together. The theme “perseverance” is a strong reminder that we must overcome fear and hatred & celebrate diversity.
