This morning Anita was at Woodroffe Avenue Public School to announce funding to The Learning Partnership for digital skills & coding training for young Canadians in Ottawa West-Nepean. Coding and digital skills are becoming the new ABCs; making digital literacy fundamental to the jobs of the future, particularly in the fields of STEM. CanCode will give thousands of Canadian teachers the know-how needed to properly teach our kids these new digital skills and technologies. This was part of a national announcement of $50 million to teach over a million kids how to code.
