Anita kicks off the school year at the Algonquin College Presidents Breakfast with college president Cheryl Jensen along with faculty, staff, students & community leaders. She was proud to work with the college on the new #DAREDistrict where the library was turned into a “collaboratory” where ideas can collide and students can innovate and network with industry and business using the latest technologies. Additionally, it includes a new Centre for Indigenous Entrepreneurship. Whether it is funding a new Data Analytica Centre, working together to encourage more women in Trades, or helping students get hands-on experience through co-op programs and apprenticeships, our government is committed to supporting cutting-edge educational institutions like Algonquin College.
Anita will continue to support the college’s forward-thinking collaborative approach to preparing learners for the jobs of tomorrow!
