Anita visited Ottawa City Hall today, where she joined in the celebrations of the rich contributions of Somali Canadians to our nation. She spoke to attendees, and learned from volunteers about several worthy community-run projects, like the pure water project initiated by Isra Farah with Human Concern International. Wonderful food, poetry and musical performances!
